October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
The NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities EmployAbility Pledge, affirms their commitment to a diverse workforce and the rich contributions of employees with disabilities.
Both of our member agencies, Able2 and Capabilities are proud to be on the list of Employers that have taken the EmployAbility Pledge.
Employers who take the pledge are recognized on OPWDD's EmployAbility Honor Roll. We, along with OPWDD, encourage everyone to support businesses that prioritize hiring people with disabilities.
